Grayswood Nursery School
Grayswood Nursery School is a playgroup run by eight members of staff and a parent committee. We have been open since 1981 and welcome children from two and a half years to school age. Our aim is to encourage and support children in the development of their personal, social, emotional and intellectual skills.
We provide a relaxed, happy, safe, friendly and stimulating environment with a broad range of interesting and worthwhile activities and a strong emphasis on learning through play.
We give priority to the development of early mathematical and communication skills, language and literacy. We also have an excellent range of activities to promote physical and creative development, and knowledge and understanding of the world.
At Grayswood Nursery School we regard parents and staff as partners in the provision of care and education and parental involvement in the nursery is encouraged whenever possible.
Parents and Carers actively participate with the children during our daily sessions (normally on a rota basis, upto 4 times a term.)
If you have any questions or would like to arrange a visit please feel free to contact our Supervisor Kate Dean
