Fees, Charges & Notice

Fees are charged by the session and are payable half-termly in advance. Fees for missed sessions are not normally refundable. A partial refund may be considered in the event of an unavoidable and prolonged absence. Half a term's notice is required of a child's permanent withdrawal from the nursery school, or fees in lieu thereof. A non-refundable registration fee is payable when a child registers to join the nursery school.

Sponsorship may be available if parents are unable to meet the fees. Please discuss this with the Chairman or Supervisor.

Our current fees are as follows:-


  • £35.00 - registration fee (non-refundable)

  • £12.50 - per morning session (9.15-12.15)

  • £4.00 - per Monday lunch hour (12.15-1.10)

  • £4.00 - fee per session for additional 1/2 hour (grant-funded children only)

  • £10.00 - per term contribution for arts and crafts materials

A £100 deposit is required once a place is accepted. This is refunded from your fees, however it is non-refundable if you place is not taken,

Free sessions

Many of the children attending the Nursery already have, or will soon be eligible for, funded places through Surrey's Nursery Education Grant. The Nursery Education Grant gives all four year olds and some three year olds living in the administrative county of Surrey, a free part time early education place.

Eligible children can receive up to five free sessions a week, of 2 1/2 hour's duration, for 33 weeks of the year, subject to availability of places.

Please note that the funding does not cover all of the sessions that we provide: fees are payable for additional half-hours and for all sessions over the 33 week allowance.

Notice Period

We require half a term's notice of your child's permanent withdrawal from the nursery school, or fees in lieu thereof.

The nursery school is non-profit making and all our funding is from fees, fundraising activities and donations.
