Grayswood Nursery School is supervised by qualified and experienced staff who are committed to providing a safe, happy, relaxed and yet stimulating environment.
Management and Funding
The Nursery School is a registered charity, managed by a committee of parents that is elected annually. Funding is from fees, voluntary donations, fundraising activities and grants from supporting organisations. Parents of attending children are members of the nursery school and are entitled to vote at its general meetings. We encourage parents to join the management committee and their involvement is welcomed in all aspects of the nursery, including fundraising, social functions, outings and participation in the nursery school sessions.
PLA Accredited
The nursery school is proud to have attained Accredited status from the Pre-school Learning Alliance, having met all of the required criteria for excellence and quality of service.
OFSTED Approved
The nursery school is registered to provide Local Authority grant-funded places for three and four-year-olds and is subject to inspection by OFSTED. The most recent inspection report is available for you to read online or directly from the ofsted. Children resident in Surrey are entitled to a free part-time place for between two and four terms prior to school entry, depending on their birth date. Please ask the supervisor for details.
